High quality carbon structural steel is divided into normal manganese (0.25% -0.8%) and higher manganese (0.70% -1.20%), the latter has good mechanical properties and processing properties.

1. Thermal calendering processing method includes hot rolling, forging, extrusion and other methods.
(1) Hot rolling method Hot rolling method is a method of heating steel to about 1000℃ ~1250℃ and making materials by rolling machine. The traditional hot rolling production process is generally divided into the following two steps: the first step is to use the initial mill or billet mill to roll the ingot, billet or continuous casting billet into a certain shape and size of the billet. This rolling process is often called semi-finished production, also known as billet production. The second step is to use different finished rolling mills to roll the billet or continuous casting billet into the finished steel of appropriate shape and size. This production process is called finished production, which is generally divided into two stages: rough rolling and finishing rolling. In the rough rolling stage, adopt large volume (each rolling) and then enter the finishing rolling stage with small quantities to achieve good surface and precise size. With the development of continuous casting production, many enterprises use continuous casting billet as raw material, only use the second step above to produce steel, and to the direction of continuous casting and rolling.(2) forging and pressing method forging method is the use of forging hammer, precision forging machine, fast forging machine or hydraulic press of steel ingot forging into steel, billet or forging blank. Forging is an early processing method, and forging is divided into two kinds, free forging and model forging. Forging method can get better mechanical performance and rolling method is not easy or can not get the shape of the finished steel.(3) Extrusion method The extrusion method is to pressure the billet into the extrusion cylinder of the extruder, so that it is extruded from the hole of the extrusion cylinder, forming a section smaller than the blank, and has a certain section shape of the profile, pipe or hollow material. The extrusion method is used to produce products that are difficult to produce by hot rolling method (such as complex section steel, stainless steel pipe, etc.).

2. Cold rolling processing method includes cold rolling, cold drawing, cold drawing, cold bending, cold extrusion and other methods. Cold calendering processing method is to continue to process the steel after hot rolling below the recrystallization temperature, and make it into cold calendering processing steel. The cold rolling processing method can improve the mechanical properties of steel, and obtain the products with high dimensional accuracy and certain finish.(1) Cold rolling method cold rolling method is mainly used to produce cold rolled steel plate, cold rolled steel pipe and cold rolled steel bar. Cold-rolled steel plate can be produced by two-roll rolling mill, four-roll reversible rolling mill, multi-roll reversible rolling mill and cold continuous rolling mill.
